TNT eyes 4th victory, RoS eyes first

Defending champion Talk ’N Text shoots for a fourth straight win on Wednesday when it faces San Miguel Beer in the KFC-
PBA Philippine Cup at the Araneta Coliseum.
Gametime is set at 7:30 p.m. after the 5 o’clock opener pitting Barako Bull against Rain or Shine.
A victory by the Tropang Texters will give them a share of the lead with idle Alaska Milk and TNT coach Chot Reyes hopes to
achieve this with a tough defense.
Reyes’ team is coming off a 100-83 win over Sta. Lucia Realty after the Tropang Texters’ defense limited the Realtors to a
35.3 percent shooting from the field (30-of-85).
“Proof of our defensive pudding is how we can limit a team with so many offensive weapons,” Reyes, citing the Beermen’s
offense, said.
For San Miguel coach Siot Tanquingcen, his team’s offense is not enough and knows too that defense will also help them
win the game.
“We have to play well defensively and control the boards to lessen their productivity,” Tanquingcen said.
Leading TNT is Mark Cardona and Jimmy Alapag, while backing them up are mainstays Ali Peek, Jason Castro, Renren
Ritualo, Jared Dillinger, and Harvey Carey.
